Office Project Update & More Andyisms
So, a few people have asked how the office project is coming, and I took a few pictures. I called for the framing inspection and the electrical inspection this morning, and hopefully that will be done soon, so we can start insulating and putting up sheet rock. The doors and the window have arrived, and we will need to cut those in soon. Many, many thanks to the guys who have helped – Motor, Tim S. & Bob for the framing; Tim C. for helping with the framing and ordering all the supplies; and Paul B. for walking me through buried electrical knowledge. Also thanks to Ray for helping with rehanging the 8′ florescents (that was a chore), and Robert for showing up to help lift the beam in place.
Pics for the office follow – but now the Andyism . . . Andy is obviously getting excited for Christmas, and was trying to nail down the date. So he asks his mom, who tells him December 25. He then asks, “And what day is it going to snow?” No doubt he has visions of last years Christmas snow storm in his mind, but we got a good laugh before explaining to him how snow works.

Roughly from the same location as the last, but from inside the room – Looking (from left to right) – where the door will be cut into the hallway, the closet, and where the window will be cut looking out on the front porch.
