Housekeeping Run Amok
So, I decided to make some updates to our webpage on the backend – things that would increase some functionality, while making it more secure. Needless to say, things didn’t quite go as planned, and before you could blink I had jacked up a bunch of stuff. Thankfully, it was all backed up, and I was able to restore the posts and comments. There is still a few things I need to add and fix, but all is well again. If you happen to notice anything needing to be fixed, let me know.

What did you try to do? I changed the layout on ours about a month ago. I am pleased with it so far. What ended up being different on yours?
I was actually attempting to move it to a different database that was running PHP 5.0 rather than PHP 4.0. I also needed to update to the new version of Wordpress, and try to sort out some problems that had developed over time with people being able to post comments, and me being able to upload certain files. It seems to be mostly working. I need to clean up all the old posts, as the database backup inserted goofy little A’s everywhere, and I’m trying some different plugins for the pics and the videos which means I need to update all of these too.
