Birthday Girl
Yesterday was Emily’s birthday, and in many ways it snuck up on us. The craziness of China has been replaced with the craziness of an office construction project. What’s more, birthdays in our home have always been a hurricane of parties and presents in late February and March. But we pulled through, and celebrated with Emily the joy of turning five. We opened gifts, and then headed to our fellowship group where everyone sang happy birthday to our girl. She seemed a bit shocked, but also delighted and we hope for many more.
