Do You Stumble?
So, I started recently using StumbleUpon, a nifty little web utility that brings up web pages that correspond to your interests. A couple of clicks a day and I’ve found some absolutely useful things, and some funny things too . . . like this ad from long ago. Go ahead moms – get blatzed. It will be good for you and for your baby. Apparently, I have an interest in babies and beer. If you Stumble, let me know.

Do you suppose the same applies to Mojitos, Merlot and Prickly Pear Martinis?
Because if it does…
…think about the size of the child compared to the amount of alchol that is consumed by the baby via mom..maybe that’s where we get alcholics today..sorry I don’t agree with the add..or any alchohol that is given to a baby just for fun..
I agree with you DiAnne – any alcohol given to a baby is horrible, and any alcohol ingested while pregnant or nursing could have serious complications for the child. What’s funny in a scary way is that this ad is from the 20’s or 30’s, and is just one example of creepy ads from the past. You can see more at this site:

My intent in posting this was to highlight a website/web utility called “StumbleUpon” that surfs the web for you and brings back sites that correspond to your indicated interests. The categories I am “stumbling” have to do with web development, graphic design, internet tools & computer graphics – none of which have anything directly to do with the site above. While it made me laugh because it was unexpected and didn’t match the categories I was “stumbling”, it also appealed to the slightly warped side of my personality.
